Tim Frost

President

Tim received a B.S. degree in Small Business Management and Natural Resources from the University of Vermont and has worked in the homebuilding industry as the owner of Peregrine Design Build for twenty-four years. Tim is actively involved with the Homebuilders and Remodelers Association of Northern Vermont. He has served as President of the association, served as Chair of its Green Council – where he earned Certified Green Professional designation – and was the Chair of its Remodelers Council. Tim truly enjoys building lasting relationships and working on a personal level with his team of employees and clients.

Cliff Deetjen

Design and Sales, CGR

Cliff attended Hobart College and holds a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Maryland. He is the Immediate Past Chair of the Remodeler’s Council of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern Vermont (HBRA) and has received Certified Graduate Remodeler and Certified Green Professional designations. Cliff  has over nineteen years of experience in managing and designing residential and commercial projects and was named HBRA Remodeler of the Year for 2012.

Jillian Hack, CKBR, CGP

Design and Sales

Jillian has a B.A. degree in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. Jillian has been working in the Design/Build side of construction since college and earned her certification in Kitchen & Bath Remodeling from the National Association of Remodelers. She has continued to focus on expanding her knowledge of interior renovations by becoming a Certified Green Builder while at Peregrine Design Build. "I truly love learning something new in the construction field everyday and applying it to my design concepts."

Charlotte Albers

Marketing

Charlotte holds a B.A. in Publishing from Hartwick College and has over twenty years of communications experience in the publishing industry.  She loves remodeling, architecture, and landscape design and writes about these topics for The Burlington Free Press and other publications. She lives in Shelburne with her family and enjoys gardening. Her own home was recently featured in Kitchen & Bath Makeovers, a Better Homes & Gardens specialty magazine, and its gardens will be featured in an upcoming book. 

Jaret Bates

Project Lead

Jaret has been with Peregrine Design/Build since 2005 and has over twenty years of construction experience. As a lead carpenter, Jaret oversees his team from start to finish of each project and manages the quality of construction, while making sure materials are ordered on time and meet the necessary specifications. He meets with the clients regularly to keep them updated and comfortable with the job process.  His goal is to exceed the expectations of our clients.

Brian Higgins

Project Lead

Brian has been with Peregrine Design/Build since 2002. He has transitioned from a carpenter to a lead carpenter and continually proves to be a great leader and manager of large remodel projects. Brian has exceptional finishing skills and has done many built-ins and cabinetry for our clients. Brian's finish work has been recognized by a national award from Better Homes and Gardens Magazine. He is a hard working professional and makes our clients feel at ease throughout all the stages of their project.

Lee Bates

Project Lead

Lee has been with Peregrine Design/Build since 2007 and has over fifteen years of experience working in the building industry. As a lead carpenter, his dedication to Peregrine's clients shines through his exceptional work ethic, building and management skills. Lee is well-liked by our clients, trade partners and vendors. He enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors in every season.

Ben Lyon

Project Lead

Ben has been a carpenter with Peregrine since 2003 when he helped build a timber frame vacation home in Jeffersonville which won a Gold Award from the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of VT. He studied Civil Engineering at Vermont Tech and enjoys working with his team and trade partners on quality renovations and new homes. As a Project Lead he manages all aspects of a project and is committed to quality work and craftsmanship. He recently finished building a timber frame home and is now supervising a remodel in Burlington.

Jill Gorman

Office Manager and Controller

Jill is a graduate of Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., and has lived in Vermont with her family for over fifteen years. She brings an exceptional array of experience to Peregrine through her positions in healthcare, the banking industry and non-profits. Jill's experience includes office management, accounting as well as sales and consumer education. Her professionalism, experience and friendly demeanor serve our clients well and keep the Peregrine team organized and happy.
